Season 3 - 2011
Quinte TT
First rider change courtesy Simon Martin
This year Scott and I had planned to campaign his RCB1000 in the endurance race, but due to construction delays, we decided to run my P1 350 instead. I took the start of the race as I was familiar with the bike and after 20 minutes came in for the first rider change.

Scott went out for his shift and was immediately turning lap times almost identical to mine after just one short practice session. Awesome!
Oh the Horror!
How can we fix this?
When Scott came in from his shift, tech found a problem with the bike. It seems a 40 year old exhaust stud broke on the left cylinder, and we couldn't go back out until it was fixed. Here is Paul Morton in the cap thinking about possible fixes. We never found one, but since we didn't leave the track and were technically working on the bike, we were awarded the period 1 first place medal as the only P1 entry!
Due to a job loss shortly after the Quinte race, my race season came to an abrupt end!
